Camp Fire Tales

The Phantom of Hollow Creek

Once upon a dark and stormy night, a group of adventurous friends decided to pitch their tents near the infamous Hollow Creek.

The Creek was known for its eerie silence and a legend that spoke of a phantom that roamed its banks at midnight.

Unfazed by the ghostly tales, the campers lit a fire and began to share stories, their laughter echoing through the desolate Creek.

As the clock struck midnight, an icy wind blew out their fire. A chill descended upon the camp, and the once lively group turned silent.

Suddenly, they spotted a ghostly figure emerging from the Creek. It was the phantom, glowing with an eerie light, its eyes burning with an uncanny fire.

Overwhelmed with terror, the campers tried to flee, but their feet were rooted to the ground, as if held by an unseen force.

The phantom approached, its haunting voice echoing in the air. ‘I am the guardian of Hollow Creek. Why have you disturbed my peace?’ it asked.

With trembling voices, the campers apologized and vowed never to return. As the phantom disappeared, their feet were released.

They packed their belongings and fled, leaving Hollow Creek to its eerie silence. The legend of the phantom was no longer a tale, but a terrifying reality they had experienced.

And so, the phantom continues to guard Hollow Creek, reminding everyone of the eerie consequence of disturbing its peace.
